EU transition updates
The UK left the European Union on 31 January 2020. We are now in the transition period until the end of the year.
Throughout this period the government will be forging new partnerships with the EU and the rest of the world. This could lead to new arrangements for trade, travel and business.
Food and agriculture EU trade
During the transition period, UK businesses will be able to trade food and agricultural goods with the EU on the same terms as they did before the transition period.
